Welcome to the  IoT App , your gateway to real-time insights into your building’s environment. The app is intuitively organised into three main sections: the  Top Panel Controls , the  3D View , and the  App-Specific Left Panel  introduced below. Let’s explore each of these sections together, so you can make the most of your building’s data! Get to know the Left side Panel Overview   Tab Get to know the Overview Tab, your gateway to a comprehensive snapshot of your building’s sensor data. Each sensor type is showcased on an  interactive card , making it easy to see  key measurements  at a glance. Simply  click on a card  to navigate to their respective  detail page , where you’ll find charts and visualisations that offer deeper insights into each sensor’s performance. Sensor Cards Each  sensor type , whether for humidity or temperature, has a separate  Sensor Card  that provides the  average value  collected from all sensors in the building of a that certain type. It acts as a type of baseline and also lets you know how many sensors that are contributing with data. When you click a card, you’ll be taken to the  Sensors Detail Page . Rooms Tab Get to know the  Rooms Tab , your main space for viewing  all the rooms available in your model . You can easily  search  for specific rooms and  bookmark  your favourites, so you can quickly return to them whenever you need. Navigating the Detail page There are two main ways to deep dive into your sensors data. One way via the  Sensor Cards  and the other one is  by selecting a room through the model . Wether you are entering the Detail page for a specific room, or for a sensor type in general, you get access to the historical data. The historic data is presented in a  graph  ranging from the past hour's readings to the last month's trends. You can easily export this data as either a  CSV  file for in-depth analysis or a  PNG  image for a quick visual reference. This feature helps you keep track of your data and ensures you can access the insights you need, whenever you need them. Introduction to the 3D View in IoT In the 3D View, you can visually explore and analyse your building’s data in real-time. Here, the 3D model of your building comes to life with interactive heatmaps that reflect the data from your  selected sensors . Whether you’re focusing on specific floors or individual spaces, the heatmap allows you to instantly see how different factors impact your building. This powerful visualisation tool helps you identify  patterns ,  trends , and  areas that may need attention , all within the context of your building’s layout. Let’s explore the app specific tools of the 3D View! The general functionality of the 3D view is described in the article  . Sensor Selector In the  Left side corner  of the  3D View , you will find the  Sensor Selector . When selecting sensors, your model will visualise sensor data in form of a heatmap across the selected floors. Heatmap Sensor Data Visualisation The Sensor Data Visualisation in the 3D View enhances your understanding of your building’s environment by displaying transparent colour gradients across the entire model. These gradients reflect the sensor data streaming in, making it easy to identify areas that may require attention. It’s a seamless way to visualise your building’s performance, helping you stay informed and proactive. Heatmap Widget The Heatmap Widget brings your data to life with a vibrant colour gradient, reflecting all the sensor values streaming from your IoT app. It’s a dynamic way to visualise how different factors are influencing your building, giving you an intuitive, at-a-glance understanding of your environment. Labels An  on/off switch  located in the  lower right corner  of the  3D View  allows you to toggle the display of  sensor labels  within the model. In this article:
