Keeping your building model up-to-date with renovations, repairs, or other modifications is crucial for accurate tracking and management. To efficiently document a new change in your model, follow the simple steps in our article. This process ensures that every update is recorded clearly, helping you maintain a current and reliable model for all stakeholders involved! Steps to Add a Change Initiate the Process Click on the " Create + " button in the  Left Side Panel  to open the addition window. You can also create a  Change  from the  Change Tab , by clicking straight in the  3D View . Choose to Add a Change A new dialog box will pop up with two options: ' New change ' and ' New asset '. Click the ' Select ' button beneath the ' New change ' option, which is typically indicated by a comment-like icon. Position the Change Back in the  3D View , navigate to the area affected by the change,  by first selecting a floor  in the  Floor Selector . You'll return to the 3D view of your building model to place the change. To assing the change to a  general space , use a  left click  in the 3D view. To assign the change to a  specific object ,  right click  on it in the 3D view. The change will be inserted at the click location. You can select  multiple spaces and/or multipe objects  in one Change Request. Input Change Details A form will prompt you to enter details about the change. The fields to be completed are: Title : Provide a succinct yet descriptive title for the change. This field is mandatory. ID : Each change is automatically assigned a unique Twinfinity ID for tracking and reference. Add Files : Attach any relevant documents, images, or files related to the change. Status : Indicate the current phase of the change, selecting from 'To Do', 'In Progress', 'Done', or 'In Archive'. Priority : Define the urgency of the change as either 'Normal' or 'High'. Description : Offer a detailed explanation of the change, including why it is necessary and how it should be implemented. Send Copy To : If you wish to notify someone about the change via email, enter their email address here. Assigned To : Specify the individual or team responsible for implementing the change. Publish the Change Click the blue button “ Publish ” to publish your change! In this article:
