Prerequisites for Document Transfer Before initiating the document transfer process, ensure the following requirements are met: There must be at least one recipient project within the Project Network. The receiving project must support the same content types as the archive from which the file is being transferred. As a user, you need rights equivalent to a drawing administrator to execute the transfer. Steps to Transfer a Document to a Project 1. Select the Documents Highlight the documents you wish to transfer in the document selector. 2. Initiate Transfer Click on "Transfer to project" located under the Files tab in the menu ribbon. 3. Choose Transfer Type On the transfer page, decide between two actions: Loan : During the loan process, the system will track the archive of origin, enabling the document's potential return at a later stage. Copy : By copying, the link to the originating archive will be severed, making a return impossible. 4. Finalize the Transfer Determine the destination project by clicking on the pencil icon next to "Target." Decide on the action: either Loan or Copy. If you've chosen to copy, you can also opt if public redlining should be included in the transfer. To conclude, click the [Transfer] button. Note : Always ensure you have the necessary permissions and that the content type matches between the archive and the project before initiating the transfer. In case of doubts or issues, consult with your system administrator. In this article:
