The aim of releasing loans is to allow administrators to efficiently manage and release document loans associated with specific projects. The release process is essential when documents, once borrowed, need to be made available for other purposes or projects. This action is especially crucial for drawing administrators who manage architectural or engineering documents within the archival system. The loan release functionality offers the following steps: Location The user should be located in a library that exists within an archive under the original archive. Permissions The user must have the role of a drawing administrator to perform this action. Release Process Choose the linked document(s) by selecting them from the document list. Navigate to the "Release connection" option under the Files tab. A dedicated page will appear, presenting options for releasing links or loans. Make the appropriate selections. Confirm the action by clicking on the [Release] button. The purpose of this functionality is to ensure that documents are appropriately managed and that loans are released when no longer required, ensuring smooth operations within the archival system.
