The `Clip Tool` in the Twinfinity Viewer offers an advanced way to visualize specific sections of your BIM models. When using the `Floor Cut` functionality within the Clip Tool, you're given granular control over the vertical cross-sections of your model, allowing for a deeper understanding of your design. Here's a guide to help you navigate the features of the `Floor Cut` dialog:

### **Floor Cut**

1. **Top Plane** and **Bottom Plane**:
  - These checkboxes allow you to activate or which of the respective clipping planes you are changing settings for.
2. **Clip Plane Properties**:
  - **Plane Elevation**: Displays the height of the active clipping plane relative to a reference point in the model.
    - Use the slider or enter a specific value to adjust the elevation of the active clipping plane.
    - The given example shows a plane elevation of `3.33`, indicating that the clipping is occurring at this height.
  - **Distance Between**: Shows the vertical distance between the `Top Plane` and the `Bottom Plane`.
    - The displayed `3.73` indicates the spacing between the two planes.
  - **Lock Distance**: This feature ensures that the distance between the `Top Plane` and the `Bottom Plane` remains constant, even when adjusting one of the planes. When toggled on, moving one plane will automatically adjust the other to maintain the set distance.

### **Tips for Optimal Usage**:

- Utilize the `Top` and `Bottom Plane` checkboxes to isolate specific floors or sections, making it easier to focus on distinct parts of your model.
- Adjusting the `Plane Elevation` with precision can help in analyzing specific layers, such as plumbing or electrical installations, within a floor.
- Use the `Lock Distance` feature when you want to inspect a specific slab or section thickness without altering its height.
