Project properties usually store data about the quantitative results of the project. Examples include what is being built, where it's being built, and the extent of the construction. A well-designed set of project properties provides a solid foundation for generating useful reports.

> ℹ️ Access to these settings typically requires a user to have a role of at least a "Project Administrator" to ensure proper authorization and security.

Project properties can be designed in various ways (comparable to website columns for documents). Commonly used formats include:

1. **Text Field:** One or multiple lines of text.
2. **Option List:** Can contain an unlimited number of options. It can also take different forms such as menus, radio buttons, or checkboxes. If checkboxes are used, multiple options can be selected.
3. **Yes/No:** Checkboxes with the options 'Yes' and 'No'.
4. **Date:** A date field that only accepts valid dates.
